    Our company is growing and we are seeking a highly qualified Business Development professional to support and help to grow our civilian space in the health sector.

    The ideal candidate brings a solid and mature understanding of the Federal government, established professional experience in operations, service delivery and direct and proven relationships in the health sector, hands-on understanding of the software development lifecycle, systems integration, with emphasis on research and development in life sciences, and related functional areas to help us grow in new markets informed by our strategy, and, leveraging our corporate assets and past experience for adjacent and emerging markets. The candidate is expected to bring demonstratable, solid and well-developed relationships and contacts with government and private industries, including hands-on experience in the complete BD lifecycle process. Measures of effectiveness of the candidate include:

    • Ability to lead and support market focused growth strategies.
    • Demonstrate a solid understanding of business drivers, information technology, innovation, to support the development and growth of a portfolio of business focused in the healthcare, and life sciences.
    • Experienced in developing, presenting and executing account plan(s) that are actionable and culminate in qualified opportunities.
    • Proven ability to develop and maintain related pipeline that aligns with corporate mission, vision and market sector.
    • Proven track record and ability to identify, qualify, shape and win new business opportunities that align with corporate objectives, quality of revenue, measurable impact to the organization and strategic position.
    • Proven experience in the Civilian Health environment and key captures.
    • Experience with major GWAC, IDIQs in the civilian sector.
    • Proven track record of strategic teaming arrangements that drive opportunities to winning solutions.
    • Understanding of technology trends, systems and application lifecycle and supporting these in the health and life sciences sectors.


    • Bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years’ professional experience with a minimum of 3 years of successful professional business development in civilian health.
    • Hands-on, end-to-end BD lifecycle, including formal milestone/gate review processes; opportunity identification, qualification, and proposal oversight.
    • Persuasive and articulate communication skills, proactive nature/sense of urgency and willingness to work collaboratively across the team and the corporation.
    • Team player with strong communication and presentation skills, including exceptional writing skills.
    • A natural ability for strategic planning, financial analysis, and strategic teaming. 
    • Ability to establish relationships with internal and external customers / partners.
    • Proactive, attention to detail and organizational skills coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proven ability to plan and execute successful forecasts, customer calls, and maintain relationships.
