    We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Rockville, Maryland.


    • Provide senior project management support as a direct report to the Program Manager/Deputy Program Manager
    • Assure that sound project management processes are established and maintained
    • Supervise members of the program’s project management office (PMO)
    • Provide oversight to development and execution of project plans
    • Identify risks and assure that appropriate risk management activities are identified and executed
    • Assure that project leaders are informed of program plans and status
    • Promote an atmosphere of cooperation and collaboration among the program leadership team
    • Assume key role in the reporting of program status to executive management and customer


    • Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
    • Must have 12 years of project management related experience and 8 years of experience managing projects or product lines in an IT environment
    • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office including MS Project and Visio
    • Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Exceptionally strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to recognize, prioritize, track, and resolve multiple ongoing issues
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain policies, procedures, and technical information clearly and accurately
    • Candidates must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

    Desired Skills:

    • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent
    • Knowledge of federal grants or acquisitions management
