We have an exciting opportunity for an Oracle (APEX Forms) Software Developer to a large federal contract. The qualified candidate will be a customer-focused developer with experience in developing, maintaining and modernizing federal software systems based on Oracle Forms, Oracle APEX, Oracle Reports and Crystal Reports. 

 

Location of work is White Oak/Rockville. Also, we are only entertaining candidates who live within commuting distance to White Oak/Rockville at this time.

Responsibilities

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Provide full life cycle development (SDLC) with releases implementing to production
  • Reengineer multiple systems from Oracle Form/Report application to APEX/BO reports web application
  • Reengineer BLT 510K submission from Oracle Form application to APEX web application.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with the following (or a combination):

  • Lead of team of developers in software development environment
  • Oracle Forms and Reports -including software lifecycle development, testing, and quality assurance.
  • Migrating Oracle Forms to Oracle Applications Express (APEX) applications
  • Designing/maintaining/deploying Business Object Report universe and BO reports
  • Designing/creating/managing database, data warehouses using PL/SQL and Informatica ETL
  • Implementing of Federal information system policies, including NIST 800.53, FISMA, the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), Configuration Management and Section 508 Compliance.
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Due to customer requirements, Public Trust clearance/Level 5 (or eligibility for) is required.

 

Experience with one or more of the following technologies:

Oracle Applications Express (APEX), Oracle Form/Report 10g/11g, Oracle 11g/12c, PL/SQL, Informatica, databases management, data warehouses design/development, Visual Basic, Windows, Visio, Informatica, ETL, ColdFusion, Agile/Waterfall

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Technology or related discipline

 

Soft skills~

  • Well-organized with proven success in managing assignments to timely completion
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with little direction
